These are the people who will be able to approve the installation of the headstone and inscription along with who’s remains should be placed in the plot. There should be at least two people who have this authority and any one of these people can allow this to happen. This list can be changed later on with the approval of one of these people.
Details submitted on the form will provide the necessary details to purchase a Plot or Niche. Specifically, it indicates how the plot is intended to be used. Any of the Deed holders can give this instruction.
The Burial and Cremations Act states that you have up to 60 years to place a person in the plot. Provided you do this, then the plot is the Plot Owner's forever. If after the 60 years have expired and you have not used the plot, we can repurchase the plot and re-sell it.
Yes, but only back to us for the original amount paid for the plot.
The only additional charges made by us are when we open the plot to insert an additional casket or ashes (called the digging fee) OR if a headstone/marker is placed and we have to approve it (termed the Permit Fee).
This is owned by the Plot Owners, who also own the headstone or marker on the plot. If it is damaged, it is the responsibility of the Plot Owners to repair or replace the headstone or marker.
